Audio Source 1-12/Extras:

  • Track 1 JPN Dialogue: UK BDMV (48kHz 24-bit stereo DTS @ ~1500 kbps).
  • Track 2 GER Dialogue: 48 kHz 16-bit Stereo AC3 @ 448k.
  • Track 3 JPN Commentary: Moozzi2’s release (FLAC) #767125 (1,4,5,8,10,12).
  • Extras/OP+ED.mkv: Source was UK BDMV.

Audio Source ONA:
– Track 1 JPN: UK BDMV (48kHz 24-bit stereo PCM @ ~2300 kbps).

  • English ones mostly from Hien which were based on BD/CR (dialogue) + Harunatsu (typesetting).
    • Heavily edited, while cross-referencing CR, Harunatsu and actual JPN audio.
    • Added honorifics.
  • Typesetting by everyone (Yuki, Hien, Harunatsu, CTSS, TDS, CR). Example:
    • KFX: OP/ED KFX idea by CTSS. Timing partially by TDS. Implemented using KaraEffector. Effects as labeled. Hien/Haru consulted for translation.
  • Official (.sup) ones also included.

EN Subs ONA:

  • From Kuromii, which were based on Nutbladder‘s release.
  • Heavily edited, while cross-referencing main sceries/nutbladder/official.
    • Merged mini-episodes, added missing lines, redid theme song, added honorifics, dialogue fixes, retimed, etc.
  • The first part of the song translation of “Afterschool Pleiades” is from Google. It is also available under Extras/mkv/.

Non-English subtitle summary (1-12):

  • German – Crunchyroll and ger BDs (.sup)
  • Japanese – 花語 and 花丸字幕組 (Florid and Hanamaru) via HsSub
  • Chinese (simplified) – 暗翼-aoi 恶魔岛-未设定 (DarkWing-BlueAlcatraz) via EMD and VCB-Studio

Notes:

  • This is a composite release of work done by many groups/individuals.
  • For dub viewers (GER), consider using the Signs/Songs subtitle track.
  • Did this because this show needed a proper release, by my standards.
  • Filtered according to my preferences. Consider VCB-Studio’s 720p or Hein’s 1080p if your preferences differ.
  • OPs/EDs were replaced with NCOP/NCED.
  • Credited OP/ED available unfiltered as track #2 in Extras/OP+ED.mkv.
  • Chapters by Hien.
  • Unmodied copies of the softsub scripts are available at Extras/scripts.zip/original_subs.7z
  • Fonts greater than 1 MB were excluded.
  • “The native resolution of Blu-Ray source is 1280×720 and was interpolated to 1920×1080 with Gaussian Kernel during BluRay mastering/authoring. The interpolation results in blurry image and tiny, scrappy aliasing attached to edges. Though Gaussian Interpolation did not introduce troublesome artifacts like ringing, it cannot conceal the fact that there is no native high frequency component under 1080p except the OP/ED credit.” – VCB-Studio

Known Issues (will not fix):

  • Typesetting errors in non-english scripts.
  • The ONA is missing the ED font.
    • It can be found at: Extras/scripts.zip/scripts/English/English_Hien/English_Hien.fonts.7z/fonts_old/OVA/MTCORSVA.TTF
    • Either mux it in using MKVToolNix or double click to install it.
